Keepin' the Sea Free of Debris!

International Marine Debris …Posters!

It seems only fitting that with the planning of the 5th International Marine Debris Conference underway (March 20-25, 2011 in Honolulu, HI, USA) that the number of languages the NOAA Marine Debris Program’s “Marine Debris is Everyone’s Problem” poster is available in should increase as well!

Being that this is a global issue, we are trying to add as many languages to the mix as possible–our newest poster is in Turkish! That puts our poster count at seven languages (English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish). If you’d like to download and use one of these posters, please visit http://marinedebris.noaa.gov/outreach/resources.html#posters.

Author: NOAA Marine Debris Program

The NOAA Marine Debris Program envisions the global ocean and its coasts, users, and inhabitants free from the impacts of marine debris. Our mission is to investigate and solve the problems that stem from marine debris, in order to protect and conserve our nation's marine environment, natural resources, industries, economy, and people.
