The NOAA Marine Debris Program is proud to present its 2014 calendar, filled with winning artwork from this year’s “Keep the Sea Free of Debris” art contest. Children in kindergarten through 8th grade from all over the country submitted artwork depicting the marine debris problem. Some entries were funny and cute, some were somber, but they were all very, very thoughtful.

The cover of the calendar shows a whale framed by a heart shape.

The program will distribute a printed version later this year, but until then, we’d like to offer a downloadable sneak peak. Take a look!
